instead of having formal portraits taken, i decided to have prints made from some pictures that i took of erik for his two and a half "birthday." i've been collecting pampers rewards points from erik's diapers since he was first born and have gotten some pretty cool stuff over the years. this time i got a picture package from shutterfly with 25 4x6, 2 5x7, and 1 8x10 prints. i picked a bunch of photos from around mid-july when erik was officially two and a half, and am having those printed. most of the pictures are from ocean city and i think they are really cute. hopefully they turn out nicely ... i'd like to be happy enough with them to send some off to erik's grandparents! by the way, if any grandparents happen to be reading this and would like to have prints of any of my pictures of erik, let me know and i will have them made for you, or i can tell you how to download the highest resolution files from my flickr photos and you can have them made!
this is the picture i chose for the 8x10. the focus isn't super sharp because the light was very low, but i still really like it. i created the vignette look using picnik, a free online photo editing program that is linked up with flickr and is really cool!
